Murdered teenager Aya Hachem was on her way to the supermarket when she randomly was gunned down during a drive-by shooting.
Witnesses heard two gunshots just before Ms Hachem, 19, was found unresponsive on King Street, in Blackburn town centre, and pronounced dead a short time later.
Police say aspiring solicitor Aya was not the intended target of the broad daylight shooting - which happened at around 3pm on Sunday (May 17).
The attack is not thought to be racially motivated, Lancashire Police said. A green-coloured Toyota Avensis, registration SV53 UBP, was used to commit the offence.
