It comes after the victim - a 30-year-old woman - was blasted in the leg while walking her dog last Tuesday evening (March 9).
The shooter pulled up in a black Fiat 500 just before 6pm, police say. The victim was hit in the back of the leg as she tried to flee.
A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault and drug offences. He has since been released on bail after being questioned by officers.
