Detectives investigating the killing of a Salford University law student have charged a woman in relation to the case. Aya Hachem was killed in a shooting while walking to a shop to get food for her family near the Quick Shine Car Wash, King Street, Blackburn, on May 17, 2020.
The 19-year-old was struck by a stray bullet shot from a passing Toyota Avensis. The charge related to May 19, 2020. She was arrested at her home address on Wednesday and charged on the same day, Lancashire Police say.
Satia has been bailed to appear before Blackburn Magistrates’ Court on February 24th. Last week two men were arrested and charged with Aya's murder and the attempted murder of Pacha Khan.
