Age UK Trafford has been providing day care for those living with dementia and supporting their families throughout the pandemic – enabling loved ones to do more of what they love.
One lady the team look after, Mary, loved to work with people and would often volunteer to help out in the Trafford area. When she got diagnosed with Alzheimer’s it became tough for Mary’s family, seeing someone they love having to live with dementia and it was hard for Mary to continue to do the things she enjoyed.
