Dead Labrador puppies 'dumped in bin bags' on footpath popular with dog walkers

dog walkers. The two animals are believed to have been chocolate Labradors. They were found two days apart near the same place on a footpath close to Great Western Park estate in Didcot, Oxfordshire.

The first was found by a dog walker on July 29, wrapped inside towels and stuffed inside the bin bag, according to The Oxford Mail. The area was combed for other dead dogs but none were found.The second was found on July 31 in the same area, wrapped in towels and dumped in a pink cardboard toy box.

It too was taken to the vets but they had no record of it being brought in. The RSPCA were informed once more. The Oxfordshire resident who found the second dog said on Facebook: “The puppies were literally along the path within the wooded area so hardly hidden from view."This area is not a busy walking route but is frequently used mainly by dog walkers so wouldn’t really be known by those not living locally."The reason for my post is to ask walkers in particular to be vigilant and report any further incidents to the RSPCA.
