What began with protests across the nation against systemic racism and police brutality has mutated into calls for greater diversity in films and on television.David Schwimmer, 53, was conscious of the change when he revealed that he pushed for greater diversity while starring on Friends in an interview with ET.Although the actor couldn't change the all-white principle cast, he said he urged the casting of non-white women to play his character Ross' girlfriends.
