The actor passed away on Friday evening around 6:30 p.m. of complications from multiple sclerosis according to TMZ reports.According to David’s family, the actor battled MS for more than 37-years.
Lander went public with his diagnosis in 1999. Lander has worked closely with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, speaking out about his experience at related conferences.Classic television fans will remember Lander best for his comic role as Squiggy in the hit 70’s sitcom Laverne & Shirley.
