Former Liverpool and England midfielder Danny Murphy believes a change of manager at Manchester United can be the first step towards the team competing for major honours again.
In their last two home games in the Premier League, United have come up against the previous two title winners in Liverpool and Manchester City.
On both occasions they've fallen well short. After Liverpool hammered them 5-0 a fortnight ago, City were 2-0 winners on Saturday, although the margin of victory could have easily been a lot more, with United second best throughout the contest.
The losses to rivals and the nature of both defeats has cranked up the pressure on United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer going into the November international break.
