billboard.comDaft Punk is back -- kind of.The French icons are working on the soundtrack to a forthcoming film by legendary Italian director Dario Argento, who in an interview with Italian newspaper La Reppublica said the duo called to say they were fans of his work and wanted to contribute to the movie."They are my admirers, they know all my cinema," Argento said. "...They learned that I was shooting a new film and they called me: 'We want to work with you.'"Argento, the father of actress Asia Argento, said Thomas Banghalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo will travel to Rome when COVID-19-related travel restrictions are lifted to deliver the music.
