Crystal Palace star 'among potential Harry Maguire replacements' and more Manchester United transfer gossip

Former United captain Maguire, who was recently stripped of the armband, is nearing an exit from Old Trafford this summer. West Ham United have had a bid of £30m for the defender accepted by the Reds.
Maguire had fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford in the heart of defence. Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane have become Erik ten Hag's first-choice partnership, with Victor Lindelof third in line and Maguire fourth choice at best, with Luke Shaw also coming into the equation. Erik ten Hag's side have a plan in place though and a variety of defenders who could fill the void have been shortlisted. According to the Daily Mail, Palace star Guehi is among the four players mentioned as a potential successor to Maguire.
