A popular Indian restaurant has closed after seven employees tested positive for Covid-19. Bosses at Akbar's in Bradford, West Yorks, have temporarily shut down the premises after the outbreak.

Bradford Council 's director for public health said there is "no reason to believe customers were at risk because the restaurant’s front of house Covid-19 safety measures are very robust".
