Liverpool should not be awarded the Premier League title if no more games are completed because of the coronavirus. That is the view of former Newcastle striker Alan Shearer, who says no matter how harsh it would be on certain teams, there can be no winners or losers.
The Reds are just a few points away from guaranteeing themselves a first league title in 30 years but may not play again this season.
The coronavirus outbreak has left everyone in fear that there could be no more football played for months. But Shearer reckons there are far more important things to be worrying about at the moment, despite how difficult the harsh reality must be for Liverpool.
