Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright has confessed he "hated" his now-close friend Alan Shearer during their playing days and would often feel inadequate in terms of their goalscoring abilities.
Shearer still holds the record as the all-time top Premier League scorer, after he bagged 260 goals in spells at Blackburn and Newcastle.
