Line of Duty creator World Productions has confirmed that filming for the BBC show's sixth series has temporarily shut down due to the coronavirus.
In a statement they said: "In light of the spread of Covid-19, after much consideration, World Productions are suspending filming of Line of Duty series six with the support of the BBC. "We will keep you updated with further developments in due course.
Thank you." Production on the show started last month in Northern Ireland. Meanwhile, the creators of Cillian Murphy and Helen McCrory series Peaky Blinders have decided not to start filming the show's sixth series yet.
