Coronation Street actor Malcolm Hebden has secretly quit the soap after 27 years. This means that soap fans will never see his character Norris Cole on the cobbles ever again.
The 81-year-old first left the ITV soap in 2017 after suffering a near-fatal heart attack, but returned briefly for a storyline involving Ken Barlow moving to retirement home.
But filming on the Corrie set stopped when the coronavirus pandemic hit last year, and initially resumed without its older cast.
Yet Malcolm has not returned alongside actors such as Maureen Lipman and Bill Roache - and sadly won't ever be back in Weatherfield.
