CORONATION Street's Jack P Shepherd's first ever scene on the soap was revealed today to celebrate his incredible two decades years on the cobbles.
The 32-year-old David Platt actor joined in 2000 when he was just 12 and has stayed with the role for so long he's now at the heart of the show and earning a reported £200,000 a year.
He joined in April 20 years ago as the son of Martin, played by Sean Wilson, and Helen Worth's Gail Platt and is seen answering his dad's phone.
In a line that couldn't come from any other show but Corrie, David says: "Hello... hello. Can I have an Eccles cake, mum?" And when asked who's on the line, he replies: "Some woman.
