Coronation Street star Vicky Myers has declared her love for her co-star after spending a 'gorgeous' festive day together. The actress is currently at the forefront of the ITV soap as DS Lisa Swain.

It was earlier this year that Vicky announced she'd been signed up as a regular on the cobbles and writers wasted no time in putting her in the thick of the action, most recently as part of the Joel Deering whodunnit saga, in which she was a suspect, before the dramatic storyline came to an end last week.

But that's not all that has got Corrie fans' tongues wagging as Swain has also struck up a close friendship with Carla Connor that is now spiralling into a romance which they have been championing from the get go. The trio couldn't have looked any happier as they spent time together over the weekend, as seen in a string of snaps shared by Sally on Instagram.
