Coronation Street star Sam Aston 'tried to blame' one of his castmates for an error behind the scenes on the ITV soap. The actor as fans know is famed for playing Chesney Brown in the long-running show.

Viewers have watched the character - and the actor who plays him - grow up on screen as Sam was just 10-years-old when he was cast in the ITV soap back in 2003 as the son of Cilla Battersby-Brown and the half-brother of Fiz Stape.

Over the years, Sam's much-loved soap alter-ego has been involved in a whole host of storylines - from being held hostage to becoming a dad of quads, to now being a doting husband to Gemma while trying to keep the family afloat with five children between them. Jack P Shepherd took to Instagram to share a video which gave a glimpse behind the scenes at the Trafford-based Corrie set. The actor, famed for playing David Platt, filmed as he went whizzing past some of the cast's dressing room, as well as a portrait of himself and his on-screen family.
