The actor bowed out of the ITV soap this week after six years of playing Paul Foreman. Paul, who was first introduced to viewers as David Platt's cellmate before later making his way to Weatherfield to look for his twin Gemma Winter, was tragically diagnosed with MND in April 2023.
There were then heart-wrenching scenes in Monday night's (September 9) Corrie as Paul died following the diagnosis of the life-limiting illness, for which there is currently no cure. Later, after doctors informed his family there was nothing more they could do but make him comfortable, Paul took his last breath.
