As viewers saw during the latest edition of the ITV soap on Wednesday night (August 28), Amy Barlow continued to talk to her grandfather about using her inheritance from Diedre following her death in 2015 to invest in The Institute's new resource centre.
Amy became interested in The Institute's work after being privy to their meetings while working at the Bistro. She was also increasingly encouraged to get involved - and invest - by Leanne Battersby and her mentor Rowan Cunliffe. Amy then headed off to her 'malware' session after opening up about her past to Leanne and Rowan in what's described as an 'upload' session.
