As viewers of the ITV soap know, Dee-Dee has joined forces with DS Lisa Swain and Lauren Bolton to bring Joel down once and for all after she discovered that he had groomed teenager Lauren before almost beating her to death and getting her pregnant.
Lauren was presumed dead following her sudden disappearance back in February after she was sacked from her job at Roys Rolls and later being visited by a mystery person, who viewers never got to see.
However, three months after she left without a trace, in May, it was confirmed that it was Joel who was behind her disappearance.
