Coronation Street Daniel Brocklebank's co-star 'gutted' as he's supported over 'stepping out of comfort zone'

The actor, who is best known for playing Weatherfield's Billy Mayhew, revealed back in December that he had signed up for a role away from his main job and confirmed he'd be making a return to the stage in Figaro: An Original Musical.
After recently spending time in London preparing, on Monday (February 3), the time had finally come to perform. Taking to Instagram with a snap from his dressing room, Daniel said: "Well, it’s definitely happening… It’s almost showtime!!
So excited for you to see @figaromusical at @thelondonpalladium!!!" It was then on Wednesday (February 5) that Daniel confirmed his short stint in his new role was over.
