According to Deadline, the deal to take the reins cost Amazon around $1 billion. That’s on top of the $8.4 billion the Jeff Bezos-owner company paid to acquire 007 distributor MGM in 2022.

Craig has worked with Broccoli outside of the Bond franchise and the film industry in general. His old boss produced the Broadway revival of “Macbeth” that the actor starred in in 2022.
