Cops catch two drivers racing at up to 130mph on major Scots road

dailyrecord.co.uk130 miles per hour on a major Scots road.On Saturday officers saw two cars travelling at what was described as 'high speed' at the A78 Meadowhead Roundabout near Troon, Ayrshire.They tailed the vehicles and found one to be clocking 100mph and the other 130mph.Both drivers have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for Dangerous Driving.A statement issued by Ayrshire division today described the chase.It read: "On Saturday 13th March 2021, at the A78 Meadowhead Roundabout, Troon, officers from our Roads Policing Unit, based in Irvine, observed 2 vehicles travelling at high speed.The officers followed these cars and found the first car to be travelling at a speed not less than 100mph and the second car at a speed not less than.
