Construction work is under way on three new nurseries in Coltness, Netherton and Newmains, which are expected to open in August.Councillor Frank McNally, convener of the North Lanarkshire Council’s Education and Families Committee, was joined by councillors and nursery staff to mark the start of work with a turf cutting ceremony at Innerleithen Family Learning Centre in Coltness.Named by local children and families after the street it’s located in, the centre will provide Early Learning and Childcare for 72 children in each morning and afternoon session.
