Ricky Gervais
Ricky Dene Gervais (born 25 June 1961) is an English stand-up comedian, actor, writer, film producer, director and musician. He is perhaps best known for creating, writing and acting in the British television series The Office (2001–2003). He has won seven BAFTA Awards, five British Comedy Awards, two Emmy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards and the Rose d'Or twice (2006 and 2019), as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. In 2007, he was placed at No. 11 on Channel 4's 100 Greatest Stand-Ups and at No. 3 on the updated 2010 list. In 2010, he was named on the Time 100 list of the world's most influential people.

Comedian Sean Lock leaves fortune to wife and kids following death from cancer

COMEDIAN Sean Lock left an estate valued at more than £4million. The panel show favourite, who died of cancer at the age of 58 last year, bequeathed his fortune to his wife, Anoushka, and their three children.

The inheritance was held in a trust, probate records revealed. Sean was best known as a team captain on the series 8 Out of 10 Cats, hosted by Jimmy Carr.

But he also appeared on QI, The Last Leg, Have I Got News for You and The Big Fat Quiz of the Year. Sean left school in the early 1980s and began working on building sites but developed skin cancer, which he blamed on over-exposure to the sun.
