Colin Farrell is requesting conservatorship for his teenage son, James, who he shares with ex-partner Kim Bordenave. The actor, 44, is petitioning an LA court, alongside Kim, to put 17-year-old James - who has Angelman syndrome - in a conservatorship.
Angelman syndrome is a rare neuro-genetic disorder that affects the nervous system and causes developmental delays, lack of speech, seizures and impaired balance are all linked with the syndrome.
James was diagnosed with Angelman syndrome - which there is no cure for - at the age of two after misdiagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.
