‘Clouded Leopard’, ‘Pontianaks In Taiwan’ & ‘Top Percentile’ Among Winners At TCCF Pitching

deadline.comTaiwanese animated feature Clouded Leopard, to be written and directed by Chi Po-chou and produced by Mangowork Studio, was presented with the TAICCA X CNC Award at the close of Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF) on Friday.
The action adventure, presented in TCCF Pitching’s Project To Screen: Animation section, tells the story of pair of siblings working with a magical creature to rid the world of a polluting rain.
The TAICCA X CNC Award, sponsored by French national film agency CNC and Taiwan Creative Content Agency, comes with a cash prize of US$30,000.
The top award in the Story To Screen section, the TAICCA Award for Best Story, went to Taiwanese fantasy horror comic Rest In Pieces, published by Balaena Islet Publishing.
