Closures on a major Greater Manchester motorway are set to last for three weeks. Barrier repairs on the M602 near Eccles will take place overnight between January 21 and February 12.
Highways North West said that the 'essential' works will be carried out to replace sections of the safety barrier in the central reservation and along the roadside in both directions.
The works will be undertaken overnight from Monday to Friday, from 9pm to 5am and occasionally on Saturdays, which will run until 7am, between junctions two and three.
The motorway will remain open but there will be lane closures in place meaning the carriageway will be opened at a reduced capacity.
