Christina Ricci has received a domestic violence restraining order against her estranged husband James Heerdegen.

Under the restraining order, James must stay 100 yards away from the 40-year-old actress and will not be allowed to visit with their 6-year-old son Freddie, People reports.

He must also stay away from the family’s dog. Christina filed for the restraining order on Tuesday (January 19), alleging that she was physically abused by James.

In the filing, Christina says she was subjected to “severe physical and emotional abuse” by James with “many of these acts of abuse” taking place in front of their son. Christina claims the abuse started in 2013 when she first found out she was pregnant.
