Chris Sutton has told Gordon Strachan and John Hartson they were both in the wrong during their on-air ding-dong. An otherwise drama-free night erupted after the full-time whistle of the 6-0 Champions League qualifying win against Reykjavík as the ex-Hoops boss and the free-scoring striker clashed over Odsonne Edouard.
The pair got heated as Strachan argued the France U21 star was more of a second striker while Hartson was convinced his best role was on the last defender.
But Sutton reckons both were completely missing the point as Edouard's versatility is what makes him such a transfer commodity.
Speaking to the Record Celtic Podcast, he said: "What a petty argument that was, they were both wrong. "He (Edouard) is good all round.
