Child, 11, seriously injured after crash in Stockport

The 11 year-old pedestrian was struck on Adswood Road, near the junction with Rostrevor Road, shortly before 6:20pm. Both police and paramedics attended and the road was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the aftermath.

Locals reported seeing the air ambulance landing nearby. Today, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed that the child had suffered serious injuries.
