Chelsea are ‘willing to agree’ a persuasive deal for Manchester United midfielder Angel Gomes, according to reports. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed in Monday’s press conference the 19-year-old looks set to depart the club after failing to agree a new contract.The talented midfielder will not be short of options this summer though with clubs from Germany, Spain, Italy and Portugal all interested.
However, he has also the chance to stay in England with the Independent claiming Chelsea are keen on striking a deal. They claim Gomes has rejected an offer of £25,000 with bonuses to stay at Old Trafford with the player believing he can get much better offers elsewhere.His agent, Pini Zahavi, is now in discussions with a host of clubs to sound out.
