Chelsea are ready to sell N’Golo Kante if their £61m asking price is met in the summer transfer window, according to reports in France.
Kante, 29, has proved a bargain for the Blues since joining in a £32m switch from Leicester back in 2016. The French midfielder first inspired them to Premier League glory in his debut season at Stamford Bridge, before getting his hands on an FA Cup and the Europa League over the course of the next two campaigns.
His unique engine in the middle of the park has drawn comparisons with Chelsea legend and compatriot Claude Makelele, who cemented a legacy as one of the best holding midfielders of all time in his own career.
