Millionaire Charlotte Crosby used the government's furlough scheme to pay an employee during the coronavirus pandemic. The Geordie Shore star is worth an estimated £2.9 million but claimed furlough for her company CLC Enterprise in December.
The details were listed on HMRC's website under 'Transparency Data', with her company listed as one of hundreds of thousands who used the scheme for "employers who have claimed through the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme", which is commonly known as furlough.
It's been used to support millions of workers' wages during the pandemic, with the government stepping in to pay up to 80% of wages to those who were not able to work.
