Channel 4's Alternative Queen's Speech has been slapped with 214 Ofcom complaints. The controversial skit, which used digital wizardry to compose a life-like figure of the real Queen, saw the "deepfake" monarch deliver a parody speech to go alongside the real deal aired over on BBC One.

The skit saw the "Queen" discuss a number of controversial topics and issues, from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepping back as senior royals to the fallout from Prince Andrew's Newsnight Interview on the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

Later on, she performs a dance reminiscent of those performed on TikTok. And while many enjoyed it, others took offence and lambasted it for being "deeply disrespectful." Since it aired on Christmas Day, broadcasting watchdog
