The makers of TV show SAS Who Dares Wins have released a new statement saying Ant Middleton's personal conduct was the sole reason he is leaving the show.

Ant, 40, had admitted that he made inappropriate comments on SAS Who Dares Wins - but claimed that it was purely "military banter” in an explosive interview on Good Morning Britain today.

The interview came after the Mirror told how female members of the crew raised concerns with makers Minnow Films and Channel 4 during an end of year review where they were allowed to speak anonymously.

They said he had made “inappropriate comments” towards them. However, a spokesman for Middleton had refuted the allegations, claiming that he is "always disciplined and utterly professional".
