Celebrity Juice return confirmed after bosses threw doubt on 'old fashioned' show

"They are as old as television if you think about it, we reinvent them, from Shooting Stars through to Celebrity Juice, they're nothing like the panel show of old," he said at the Edinburgh TV Festival."It's one of those where the host greets you, you know what you're going to get, you're introduced to this week's panel and at the end of the episode they wave goodbye and it's, 'see you next week'.

It's not the way to talk to younger audiences."However, ITV has now announced that it is back for 2022, noting that it consistently ranked as the number one multichannel show in the slot for 16-34s last year.Love Island host Laura Whitmore and The Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack return once again as team captains.The series will run for 10 episodes.Celebrity Juice is one of several popular entertainment shows returning this year.The Emily Atack Show, Celebrity Karaoke Club, Apocalypse Wow, Shopping with Keith Lemon and Secret Crush are also coming back as part of what the panel says is an "enticing line-up".Other highlights of the viewing calendar include the return of Love Island, which will be based at a brand new villa in Majorca this year.Paul Mortimer, Content Director, On Demand & Acquisitions for ITV, said: "Once again ITV2 viewers can look forward to an enticing line-up of comedy and entertainment in 2022 - if it's hilarity, absurdity and nonstop thrills and spills you're looking for, our exciting schedule is the place to find it.
