Carlo Ancelotti has reflected on Jamie Carragher's 'time-wasting' in extra-time of the 2005 Champions League final as the Italian's AC Milan side squandered a 3-0 lead against Liverpool .
Ancelotti believes the Reds 'stole' the trophy as three second-half goals overturned a 3-0 half-time deficit before Rafa Benitez's side prevailed in a penalty shootout.
Despite their comeback, Liverpool were second-best in the extra period as shootout hero Jerzy Dudek made an unbelievable save to deny Andriy Shevchenko.
And - reminiscing on the game - Ancelotti recalled Carragher buying time for his fatigued teammates. “I remember you using the time up in extra-time – going down for treatment twice,” he told Carragher in an interview with the Telegraph.
