Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.Maggie’s Lanarkshire cancer caring centre received a welcome donation thanks to the efforts of a grateful Shotts family plus their fundraising friends and canine companionsChristine and Robert Hague – along with border collies Kalle and Theo – recently presented a cheque for £721 to the Airdrie support centre, nearly doubling their overall fundraising total for the charity to a total of £1538.They raised the money along with fellow members of TT Dog training school in Lesmahagow, after an initial stream of hot drinks from Robert’s trusty flask soon turned into a flood of donations for the centre at Monklands Hospital.Christine first joined the class.
