Aberdeenshire after a car was torched are urging anyone with information to come forward. The blue Citroen C2 car was set alight on the A950, Longside to Peterhead Road, near Flushing on Thursday morning.
Officers raced to the scene when the alarm was raised just after midnight. Fire crews also attended and were able to put out the blaze.
Nobody was in the vehicle at the time. Cops are treating the fire as wilful and launched an investigation to find the owner.
Anyone with information, witnesses, or those who may have dash cam footage are being urged to come forward. The fire was extinguished by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.Constable Josh Mowatt said: “The fire is being treated as wilful.
