Aberdeenshire village in a early morning incident as cops rushed to the scene.Just before 2am this morning a vehicle crashed through a metal barrier and into a property on Longside Main Street, near Peterhead.The light coloured vehicle could be seen lying on its side behind a piece of the metal barrier still intact.The front of the car was badly damaged and pieces of it could be seen lying in front of the house it crashed into.Many of the tiles on the roof of the home had fallen off.A orange barrier and tape cordoned off the area as a police car remained on the scene until the vehicle was recovered.The road was closed for a short period of time this morning to allow for vehicle recovery.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called.
