The latest round of banned number plates has been revealed. Officials from the DVLA have combed through all possible letter and number combos with the new 20 and 70-plates in an attempt to stop any problem plates from hitting the roads.
Dozens have been stopped, including 20 HEL, PR20 ZZY and FF20 KER, as well as SC20 TUM and VA70 GNA. The DVLA focuses on banning sequences that could be deemed racist or politically offensive.
Other registrations that got banned earlier this year include BU20 GER, A20 RSE and M20 RON. Drugs-related plates GA20 NJA, SM20 ACK and HA20 SH also got pulled from circulation this year.
