recently bought a 51% stake in the UK arm of Victoria’s Secret. The American lingerie giant had fallen into administration in June, following several tumultuous months of bad press, however it is still a household name and a storied authority in the selling of sexy underwear.But what is sexy now?

One of the reasons Victoria’s Secret was on the down was because it hadn’t adapted to the changes in the industry: the successful marketing of 'sexy underwear' now is much more geared towards women and self-confidence, than it is about the male gaze.
