Leigh. Warrington Road is currently closed off from the Greyhound Island roundabout to Greenfold Way.Pictures taken at the scene show a huge pool of water flooding the road.The road has been taped off by police and is blocked by cones.Police are urging people to avoid the area and take an alternative route.Engineers have been made aware of the incident.In a tweet, an officer from GMP Traffic said: "Road flooded on Warrington Road near to Green Fold Way @GMPLeigh. "Please find an alternative route.
