Burning Man festival 2020 cancelled

The 2020 Burning Man festival has been cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis. The annual gathering of artists and tech enthusiasts in the Nevada desert, which was due to take place from 30 August to 7 September and culminates with the burning of a wicker man effigy, was due to take place later this year but will instead go totally virtual for the first time ever amid the global Covid-19 pandemic.
