mirror.co.ukA man launched three days of violence on his wife, repeatedly hitting and threatening to kill her, after overhearing her talk about their sex life with a friend.
Shane Gordon, 27, subjected his victim to repeated abuse until she managed to alert the police without him noticing. The violent abuse started on July 10 and continued for three consecutive days, Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard.
In court, the abusive husband admitted three charges of assault resulting in actual bodily harm. He was jailed for 18 months, StokeonTrentLive reports.
Prosecutor Steven Bailey said: "During the day he was throwing tomato sauce and water in the bedroom. "She was having to redecorate and clear up and he kicked her in the face bruising her eye.
