BUFFY The Vampire Slayer's boss has been branded an ‘egomaniac’ as the stunt team reveal the ‘dark and disgusting’ truth behind their exits.

Joss Whedon created and directed the hit supernatural drama, which starred Sarah Michelle Gellar. But stunt coordinator Jeff Pruitt and his wife Sophia Crawford - who was Sarah's stunt double - have now claimed Joss told them no one else would hire them after an on-set disagreement.

The couple, who became engaged while working on the show and are now married, worked with Joss for four seasons before things turned sour.
