With most of May being overcast, with what's felt like near-constant rain showers and chilly temperatures, it's about time we had some good weather to look forward to.
The changeable weather certainly hasn't been ideal for the reopening of outdoor hospitality, and the reopening of indoor dining cannot come soon enough for many.
But as we head towards summer, things are finally starting to look up. The weather experts at AccuWeather are forecasting scorching temperatures for the majority of next month.
In London, it's forecast that on 16 consecutive days, temperatures will hit 20C minimum, MyLondon reports. But the picture looks good across the rest of the UK as well.
