Brits will be able to travel across Europe without having to quarantine on their return from next month in new Government plans, it has been claimed.
The Sun reports Boris Johnson wants to agree a cross-EU exemption to the 14-day isolation order which came into force at midnight.
One senior government figure said: "Designing international travel corridors is very complex, not least because they are a cross-Whitehall problem. "The aim is to have the first ones in place by mid-July, and one with the EU will be the first." The newspaper also claims advice to restrict all but essential travel is being reviewed by the Foreign Office and could be lifted "within days".
